When renting the Bellevue Arts Space, we ask that you become familiar with the Terms and Conditions to ensure your experience is enjoyable
Gallery Hire
Exhibitors may arrive on Thursday, or on Friday from 1:00 PM to begin their installation
Delivery of artworks is the responsibility of the exhibitors, Time of delivery is to be discussed with gallery owner
Upon delivery, Artworks MUST be touch dry and ready to hang.
For any unusual install requirements please arrange with gallery owner.
From Monday 10:00 am exhibitors uninstall and must be off-site by 12:00 PM
Bellevue Arts Space will help on any install or curation for a set cost of $100 per hour
Opening hours:
Friday: 1:00 – 10:00 PM (For opening night)
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Plinths are available for hire, more information can be provided on request
Hanging system with hooks are provided
Nothing may be attached to the walls and drilling is prohibited [small black numbers are available at Officeworks]
Exhibitor must provide their own typed price lists and only use small stickers for numbering on the walls next to artwork or sculptures is permitted
Kitchenette available for use, including a sink, kettle, fridge and microwave
Opening night is self-catering and exhibitors must provide their own crockery and glassware for 60+
Alcohol can be served not sold on opening night
Smoking is prohibited on the premises
Bond of $200 to be paid on booking before exhibition
Music is allowed but exhibitors must provide their own music and speakers
There are no storage facilities available on-site
Bellevue Arts Space will advertise the exhibition on their website, Facebook, and Instagram. The exhibitor must provide promotional content to the gallery email four weeks prior to exhibition
Ultimately it is up to the exhibitor to promote their exhibition
Bellevue Arts Space logo must be present on all promotional content
Public Liability Insurance is provided, but exhibitors must insure their own artworks
Please follow laminated sheet for clean-up instructions
Please leave gallery as you find it or $200 payment for cleaner will be required
Cleaning equipment and products will be provided
$100 of the bond deducted if the space is left untidy
Incident report to be filled out if anything occurs
Sale and delivery of sold works is the exhibitor’s responsibility
Renting through the week is negotiable
Lock and return all keys to owner as arranged once finished
Workshop Hire
We suggest for a four hour hire period that at least 30 minutes are set aside on either side of the workshop for all setup and packaway, resulting in a three hour class.
The workshop must be booked and paid for four weeks prior to the classes commencing
$120 four-hour hire fee
For any booking with over 10 people, an additional $10 per head will be required.
Carpet or drop cloths must be used to protect the floors, these are available for use
Screen door at the front can be left open for air but locked for security reasons once class has commenced
An outside sink is available. Please do not use the kitchen sink for any art-related cleaning purposes
Fluoro lights may be used, the spotlights should not be used for any classes
Tea and coffee facilities are available. Please provide your own milk and snacks
Please ensure class tidy up their areas at the end of the session and that the floor has been swept and cleaned, dishes have been done and sink cleaned, and bins are emptied into outside bins
If left untidy and in bad condition, the teacher will be sent an invoice for $50 to cover cleaning costs
Area behind kitchen is a private studio and is out of bounds at all times, although access to toilets and outside sink is permitted
Artworks that are wet may be left on the premises and pickup arranged at a later date or following week
Check the toilets, lock and return keys to the owner as arranged and sign any incident report if needed
